Fractal image analysis is a technique used to detect tampering of paranormal images by making fractal field comparisons. Utilizing the open source software FracLab2.0, Omaha UFO Study Group members Dave Pares and Matt Judah developed this method in 2012 to assist MUFON field investigators in the authentication of true vs tampered images.
